By-laws

The Public Sector Employment and Management By-laws are made by the commissioner and provide certain entitlements such as:

  • leave - paid and unpaid
  • allowances
  • remote locality provisions.

The By-laws apply to Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) employees.

It is subject to any applicable enterprise agreement or commissioner’s determination that also governs an employee’s terms and conditions of employment.
