Annually, NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July.

The 2025 week-long celebrations will commence Sunday 6 until Sunday 13 July and is dedicated to honouring and recognising the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week provides a platform for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories, and it serves as an opportunity to participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living culture on earth. This year’s theme for NAIDOC Week 2025 is ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy'.

Everyone is encouraged to get involved by attending events, participating in discussions, and share in the storytelling.
