Bulletin 9 - ballot outcome - issued 11 February 2026

I am pleased to advise the proposed Northern Territory Public Sector Aboriginal Health Practitioner 2025 - 2029 Enterprise Agreement was approved by the majority of employees who voted in the ballot process.

Next steps

This is a positive outcome as the agreement provides significant improvements to terms and conditions of employment for employees.

Now that the agreement has been approved by the majority of employees who voted, it is necessary to lodge the agreement with the Fair Work Commission for approval.

I am working with the Department of Corporate and Digital Development to confirm the timing for payment of the first salary increases, which will be backdated to the first full pay period on or after 10 August 2025. We are waiting for the Fair Work Commission’s approval of the agreement before the date can be finalised.

I will advise you once the Fair Work Commission has approved the agreement.
