Bulletin 15 - Approval of the 2025–2029 Jacana Energy Enterprise Agreement - issued 17 September 2026
After the success of the ballot outcome on 23 July 2026, I am pleased to advise that on 10 September 2026 the Fair Work Commission approved the 2025-2029 Jacana Energy Enterprise Agreement (the Agreement).
This is an excellent outcome as the Agreement provides generous salary and allowance increases and significant improvements to the terms and conditions of employment for employees.
In accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009, the Agreement formally commences on 17 September 2026, which is 7 days after it was approved. This is the date all your terms and conditions in the 2025-2029 Jacana Energy Enterprise Agreement will be effective from.
Next steps
The Department of Corporate and Digital Development is working expediently to process the new salary rates provided for in the Agreement.
The payment of salary and allowance increases, and the change of hours of duty will be actioned as follows:
