Bulletin 8 - Reminder to vote - issued 19 February 2026
The ballot for the proposed 2025 – 2029 Jacana Energy Enterprise Agreement closes at 10.00am on 23 February 2026.
If you haven’t already voted, then I encourage you to take part in the ballot by casting your vote.
All employees covered by the current agreement are entitled to vote. You do not have to be a union member to participate in the ballot.
You should have received an email link to cast your confidential vote. If you have not received this, contact Vero Voting at support@verovoting.com.au or call 1300 702 898.
The Vero ballot process ensures all employees personal details remain confidential with end-to-end encryption and anonymity to ensure integrity of the ballot process.
Your pay, your future
I encourage you to give favourable consideration as this offer maintains your existing package of competitive leave and other entitlements, and a range of improvements such as:
- 3% salary increase for the first 2 years with 3.5% in the third year and 3.5% or CPI (whichever is the greatest) in the final year of the Agreement – equivalent to 13.65% over the term of the Agreement.
- Backpay from the 17 November 2025, in line with the recommendation made by the Fair Work Commission during conciliation for the NTPS 2025-2029 Enterprise Agreement.
- Top of Band bonus – once off uplift of $250
- Reduction of working hours from 37.5 hour working week to 36.75 hour working week.
- Enhancements to working from home - each application is to be considered on its merits on a case-by-case basis.
- Compassionate Leave enhancements – employees may access during periods of approved recreation leave.
- JL3 employees and below may now access Higher Duties Allowance after the conclusion of one day.
Make your vote count
Every vote is important.
If the majority of employees who vote endorse this offer, and the Agreement is approved by the Fair Work Commission, this offer provides for pay rises to be backdated to 17 November 2025. This is inline with the recommendation made by the Fair Work Commission during conciliation for the NTPS 2025-2029 Enterprise Agreement.
If the vote isn’t supported the current Agreement will continue to apply. This means that you will not have access to the proposed improved conditions, new salary rates or the backpay from 17 November 2025.
