Vote nowThe ballot for the proposed Northern Territory Public Sector 2025-2029 Enterprise Agreement has now opened.

It is important that you have your say by voting on the proposed agreement.

Your vote needs to be received prior to the ballot closing date on Monday 15 December 2025.

All employees covered by the Northern Territory Public Sector 2021-2025 Enterprise Agreement are eligible to vote. You do not need to be a union member to participate in the ballot.

Why it’s important to vote on this offer

This offer maintains your existing package of competitive leave and other entitlements, including 6 weeks recreation leave and 3 days Christmas closedown leave, that exceed the national employment standards, along with a range of improvements such as but not limited to:

  • 3% salary increase for the first 2 years with 3.5% in the third year and 3.5% or CPI (whichever is the greatest) in the final year of the agreement - equivalent to 13.65% over the term of the agreement
  • increase to the Katherine and Alice Springs retention allowance to $2,000 per annum
  • improved overtime, restrictive duty and excess travel time provisions
  • generous uplift in allowances for professional and technical employees
  • new/improved leave entitlements - organ donor Leave, plasma leave and leave to engage in voluntary emergency management activities
  • further enhancements to working from home provisions
  • work, health and safety provisions strengthened
  • commitment to a comprehensive review of the remote locality provisions and the schedules in the agreement
  • maintain generous redeployment and redundancy provisions.
