Bulletin 14 – reminder to vote – 9 December 2025

The ballot for the proposed Northern Territory 2025-2029 Enterprise Agreement closes at 10am on Monday 15 December 2025.
If you haven’t already, then I encourage you to take part in the ballot by casting your vote prior to the ballot closing date.
All employees covered by the current agreement are entitled to vote. You do not have to be a union member to participate in the ballot.
You should have received an email link to cast your confidential vote. If you have not received this, contact Vero Voting via Support@verovoting.com.au or call 1300 702 898.
The Vero ballot process ensures all employee personal details remain confidential with end-to-end encryption and anonymity to ensure integrity of the ballot process.
Make your vote count
Every vote is important.
If the majority of employees who vote, endorse this offer, and the agreement is approved by the Fair Work Commission, this offer provides for pay rises to be backdated to 17 November 2025.
If the vote isn’t supported, the provisions within the current agreement will continue to apply. This means that you will not have access to the proposed improved conditions, new salary rates or the backpay from 17 November 2025.

This offer maintains your existing package of competitive leave and other entitlements, and includes a range of additional improvements such as:
- 3% per annum salary increase for the first 2 years with 3.5% in the third year and 3.5% or CPI (whichever is the greatest) in the final year of the agreement; equivalent to 13.65% over the term of the agreement
- improved access to overtime, restrictive duty and excess travel time provisions
- generous uplift in allowances for professional employees

- new technical incentives in recognising expertise and rewarding excellence for technical employees

- new leave entitlements:
- organ donor leave
- long service leave
- plasma leave
- increase to the Katherine and Alice Springs retention allowance to $2000 per annum
- further improvements to flexible work conditions
- commitment to a comprehensive review of the remote locality provisions and the schedules in the agreement
- maintain generous redeployment and redundancy provisions.
