Bulletin 18 - Approval process for the NTPS 2025 – 2029 Enterprise Agreement - 30 January 2026

Following a successful ballot outcome on 15 December 2025, I am pleased to advise that the Fair Work Commission has approved the Northern Territory Public Sector 2025 - 2029 Enterprise Agreement (the Agreement) on 30 January 2026.

This is an excellent outcome as the agreement provides generous salary and allowance increases and significant improvements to the terms and conditions of your employment.

In accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009, the Agreement is effective from 6 February 2026.

You can expect to receive the new salary rate and salary based allowances on 26 February 2026 (pay 18), backdated to 17 November 2025.

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development will work expediently to process all other allowances payable as soon as possible in the following pays.
