The new Northern Territory Public Sector Educators' 2024 - 2027 Enterprise Agreement is now approved

After the success of the ballot outcome on 1.9 September, I am very pleased to advise that the Fair Work Commission approved the Northern Territory Public Sector Educators' 2024 - 2027 Enterprise Agreement (the Agreement) on Thursday 31 October 2024.

This is an excellent outcome as the agreement provides generous salary and allowance increases and significant improvements to the terms and conditions of employment for Educators in the Department of Education and Training.

In accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009, the Agreement formally commences on Thursday 7 November 2024, being the date all your terms and conditions in the Northern Territory Public Sector Educators' 2024 - 2027 Enterprise Agreement will be effective from.

You can expect to receive the new salary and allowance rates in pay 1.0 on 7 November 2024.
