Seán Parnell

Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services

Married to Kiim Parnell OAM, and have raised our 6 children in the Territory.

I have served in numerous roles throughout the Territory in the Police Force, from bush stations, to the major centres, and is currently the divisional officer for the Casuarina District and Strike Force Trident, dealing with property crime. I was the Inaugural Director-General of Licensing for the Territory from 2014 to 2015, and have served the Territory on numerous boards and committees.

I was awarded the Medal in the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list in 2014 for services to the community in a volunteer capacity.

I am graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a life member of the Northern Territory Police Association.
