Anna Grosvenor

Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet

Anna began her career with the NTPS in 1989 starting in an administration role; the following year she moved into public relations and later gained a Diploma of Communications and Media, she is now a Communications Manager with the Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet.

Anna has taken the lead in producing and coordinating expos, conferences, open days and NT show circuit displays. Outstanding displays have been awarded prizes in the government category at the Alice Springs, Katherine, Fred’s Pass and Darwin shows, and at the Central Australian Expo. A particularly memorable experience was running the inaugural and subsequent Open Days at the Arid Zone Research Institute in Alice Springs.

She has worked alongside dedicated and passionate employees, and industry professionals in primary industry, fisheries, mining, energy, Aboriginal economic development, housing, local government and business from central Australia to the Top End.

In 2009 she was recognised for her work ethic being presented with the ‘Living our Values’ award from the Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries. This included $2,000 for professional development enabling her to attend the PRIA Conference that year.

At the start of the COVID pandemic in March 2020, Anna was seconded to the Public Information Group at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), where her role encompassed the delivery of information through the website, social media, campaigns and media engagement, she remained in this role until recently. She has also been involved in other EOCs during weather events – cyclones and floods.
