I completed teacher training in the Northern Territory (Darwin Institute of Technology - now CDU) and my first teacher placement was at Nakara Primary School.

I was the Assistant Principal at Parap Primary School from 2004-2010, the Principal at Anula Primary School 2010-2018. I moved into a corporate school and system leadership role in 2018.
