Commenced PWC as Intake Apprenticeship in 1991 Electrical fitter mechanic at 18 years old, being Darwin born.

Involved working in the following Departments:

  • Substation MaintenanceMaintaining 11KV, 22KV, 66KV, 132KV High Voltage Network for reliable supply to valued customers, stake holders, maintained tap changers, transformers, RMU, RM6, FM6, BBC units, OCB. This includes remote area.
  • Cable SectionInstallation of high voltage URD transmission lines, maintaining of HV switch gear, coordinating of outages
  • Electrical InspectorsInspection of domestic/commercial/Industrial electrical installations comply to Australian Standards AS 3000, PWC metering manual.
  • Metering ServicesInspection of new installations metering,  multiple of high rises, units complex’s, to comply with Australian Standards AS 3000, PWC metering manual, this include electricity theft.
  • Cable locations/high voltage testing - received for power locations for dial before you dig for developers/contractors.
  • Power Networks Contracts-Liaising with developers/contractors, PWC stake holders, supervising, inspections of installation of high voltage network as per approved electrical drawing. Working with asset management team, design, final connections to new Installations, confirm all works as per constructed drawings, issuing of handover documents.

Project Manager - Manage projects from authorisation to project completion including the assignment of work to the approved panel of providers within PWC's guidelines.

Project preparation, implementation and timely reporting of project management plans including time plans, cost plans human resource and communication plans for new projects. Power and Water's safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies. Provide high level project management services across Power Networks in relation to cyclic maintenance, corrective maintenance, acceptance of 'gifted assets' and minor new works. Request for tender documents.
