My teaching career with NT DoE began at Humpty Doo Primary School in 1989. Since then, I have worked in Katherine, Alcoota and Alice Springs. I spent 18 years at Ross Park Primary School before accepting the assistant principal job at Larapinta Primary School in 2014.

There are too many highlights from which to choose, but winning the Teaching in the Territory Excellence award for the NT in 2009 with my team-teaching buddy, and then winning the regional leadership award alongside two former students in 2018 are definitely up there!

I love that I get to be creative, build strong connections and make a difference every day. I have worked with the best educators and kids in Australia, and I feel privileged and extraordinarily lucky to be paid to do something that makes me laugh and doesn't feel like work.
