Jenny Debra Davie

Department of the Attorney-General and Justice

Jenny was born and bred in Alice Springs, living and working across the Northern Territory. Jenny's roles within the public sector have been in the areas of Health, Courts, and the Office of the Director of Prosecutions.

Jenny is currently a witness support officer, and has fulfilled this role for the past 13 years based in Darwin and servicing circuit courts in Katherine and Alice Springs regions as needed.

Jenny finds her roles within the NT public sector to be very rewarding as they focus on helping people, many at a point in their lives, where they seek support to get through difficult times, and for many, the most challenging time of their lives. Jenny has a real sense of being there for people from all walks of life and sees her role as a real privilege to hear and be trusted with people's stories and assist them in telling their stories with confidence and strength. Working with such an array of people, Jenny herself a people person, really enjoys learning from everyone she meets and applying what she has learnt to better support the people of the Territory.

A highlight for Jenny has included working with outstanding colleagues that have helped shape Jenny's journey as a Territory public servant, and the many friendships that have formed that she now holds dear. Jenny feels fortunate to have a varied and rewarding career where she can give back to the community she cares for.
