Carolyn Gail Edwards
Department of Education
I commenced my studies at Darwin community college in 1981, with a name change to Darwin Institute of Technology and Northern Territory University (now CDU).
It is with great pride, as a Territorian who completed my primary and secondary education in the NT, that I have made a difference through my chosen profession of a teacher, to so many students.
My first school was Malak primary school. I then moved to Gray primary and Humpty Doo primary. I was assistant principal at Humpty Doo primary and Henbury School. In 2009, I became principal of Henbury School. One of my major achievements was seeing the growth of Henbury and how I contributed to the development of the new Henbury School.
In 2019, I became the foundation principal of Zuccoli primary school. It is a great privilege to influence what education at Zuccoli primary looks like.
