Ruth Finn

Ruth has dedicated over 45 years to nursing and caring for others. She commenced training at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg, Victoria in 1974 and worked in several hospitals after graduating, before finding her home in the Northern Territory.

Ruth commenced work on ward 3A at Royal Darwin Hospital in July 1991 and has held many roles throughout her career, on and off the floor, including the Emergency Department, on the Cognitive and Delirium Project and more recently, being a wealth of knowledge in the clinical document space working as a policy guidance centre coordinator. She has been integral in proving clinical and administrative support to clinicians across NT Health during the transition into one integrated service.

Ms Finn retired from NT Health in September 2023 after over 30 years of service.
