O'Neil Padilla
Department of Attorney-General and Justice
Like a lot of other Territorians I arrived here when I was 5 years old back in 1979 and have never left. I’m the son of two Cuban refugee’s that fled communism in the sixties and I was born in Miami Florida USA.
I commenced with the NTG back in 1994 with the Government Printers Office (when it was a part of Transport & Works) and then progressed on to do stints throughout the NTG with the Supreme Court (then the Office of Courts Administration), the Local Court, the Fines Recovery Unit, Director of Public Prosecutions and the Odyssey Project.
I've always gotten great satisfaction in helping solve problems/technical issues and improving processes within the Administrations I've served in, but it's the people I've met and friends I’ve made over the years that has made my time with the NTG so rewarding.
