Tony Stubbin
Land Development Corporation
After completing school in Warilla, New South Wales, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Wollongong, I relocated to Canberra in 1983 to work for the Australian and ACT Governments, mainly in economic roles.
In 1992, I made the move to Darwin to work for Northern Territory Treasury. Over the next 24 years I rose to the position of Deputy Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury and Finance, having responsibility for the Economic Group; Corporate Support Group; Superannuation Office; and the Northern Territory Treasury Corporation. While with Treasury I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of Southern Queensland.
In 2016, I made the move to the Land Development Corporation (LDC), taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer. At LDC I enjoy playing a more hands-on role in delivering residential, industrial, and commercial land to benefit Territory families and economic development.
Throughout my career I have enjoyed workplaces which help all staff grow and develop their skills while delivering positive outcomes for the people we serve.
