I've worked most of my teaching career in very remote communities - Hodgson River Station, Minyerri, Ngukurr, Lajamanu, Batchelor. I was Principal of Minyerri School from 2001 - 2013 and 2015 - 2018, I received the Katherine Region - Principal of the Year in 2012. During my time at Minyerri School we received National recognition for our very high attendance rates and our staff were recognised for their skills and knowledge and the Minyerri Community received acknowledgement for the efforts and support they gave to the school and their children's education. It was a fantastic time and I thoroughly enjoyed my many years at Minyerri School / Community. I've worked with the Transition Support Unit for the past six years, it's been a great delight to work with different schools, communities and families.
