Raymond Musgrave

Northern Territory Police

I joined the Police force as a police cadet at 16 years of age on the 13th February 1984, I am now into my 41st year, I have travelled extensively throughout the NT as a police officer, most of this time I have been stationed in remote aboriginal communities.

I have recently attained the rank of SGT and am based in Alice Springs working in the Community Resilience and Engagement command (CREC).  This involves being in charge of a team of Aboriginal Liaison Officers (ALO) who are based in the police station and assist the front line police and other sections of the police in locating missing persons, welfare concerns and persons of interest in a timely manner.

So far the support from the police officers has been excellent and results of their enquiries also excellent.
