Power and Water Corporation

Ron began his career in electrical maintenance at Stokes Hill Power Station in 1974 before joining Operations as a System Controller. Then, in 1987 he took on the System Controller role at Hudson Creek.

In his 50 years of public service, Ron has worked with Power and Water solving the impacts of Cyclone Tracey, self-government in 1978, the decision to fuel Channel Island Power Station with gas as opposed to coal and the subsequent transition away from Stokes Hill Power Station, which closed in 1987

He has also worked through issues relating to the electricity market introductions, and the impact of Solar Generation on System Stability and Security.
