2025 leadership development wrap up

OCPE has supported the delivery of 21 leadership development programs across the NTPS throughout 2025 with a total of 521 enrolments within the calendar year.
The breadth and uptake of programs delivered in 2025 highlight the NTPS’s ongoing commitment to strengthening leadership capability across the public sector.

Supporting aspiring and middle managers


For the first time, it was fantastic to deliver a face-to-face emerging leaders’ program in Alice Springs.
The program included local keynote presenters that enabled participants to receive learning that is contextualised to their region.

The senior leaders program has encouraged me in a way that I did not expect. I expected to learn about emotional intelligence, systems thinking, future planning/policy development, etc. I expected impressive, high-quality presenters; experienced and storied keynote speakers; and rapid and responsive facilitators. Of course, it has and does all of this.
However, my surprise has been how well this program has connected me to my excellent peers. How inspiring, that throughout our NTPS there is such a cohort of talented, hopeful, curious and compassionate current (and future) leaders!
If even just one of my fellow participants is the next CEO of an agency, Territorians can be comforted because their essential services will be under exceptional stewardship. Thank you to OCPE for this opportunity. I strongly recommend this program.
