The Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment (OCPE) recently hosted the Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) Aboriginal Employee Forum.

The forum brought together Aboriginal employees from across the Territory to connect, share experiences and contribute to discussions about the future of the NTPS workforce.

It provided a valuable opportunity for participants to discuss career development, leadership pathways, professional growth, cultural safety and workplace inclusion.

Through facilitated conversations, networking activities and panel discussions, employees shared their experiences, challenges and aspirations within the public sector.

The insights and feedback gathered from participants will help shape future workforce initiatives and support to strengthen Aboriginal employment, career development, leadership opportunities and workforce participation across the NTPS.
