March marked a historic milestone for Yuendumu School as it celebrated 50 years of bilingual education.

Yuendumu School marked 50 years of bilingual education with a ceremony featuring traditional Purlapa and Yawulyu dances and presentation of awards recognising key contributors.

A highlight was recognising long-serving NTPS staff, which included Assistant Principal Yamurna (Nancy) Oldfield, who was honoured for 40 years of service. Acknowledging staff dedication reinforces the vital role NTPS employees play in shaping the Territory.
