Aboriginal Employee Forum

The Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) Aboriginal Employee Forum (AEF) is a key initiative within the NTPS Aboriginal Employment and Career Development Strategy.

In 2025 OCPE will hold the first regional forum in Katherine at the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Cultural Centre (GYRACC) on the 23 and 24 July 2025.

The forum is open to all NTPS Aboriginal employees across the Territory.

A dedicated merit selection training session has been arranged for all forum participants to attend on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, from 12.30pm to 4.21pm.

This is a great opportunity for Aboriginal employees to participate in-person and gain valuable insights into the Merit Selection process.

Having Aboriginal employees on recruitment panels is crucial for ensuring cultural diversity and fairness in selection decisions. We encourage you to attend and register through the link provided to take full advantage of this informative session.

The second Aboriginal Employee Forum for 2025 will be held in Alice Springs in November, venue and dates to be confirmed.
