The Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) recognises that diverse perspectives, experiences and talents strengthen public services and help deliver better outcomes for Territorians.
Through the EmployAbility Strategy, the NTPS is creating a workforce that is inclusive, capable and reflective of the community it serves by offering a range of employment pathways and development programs.
An example of this commitment is our Henbury School NTPS work experience program which has been designed to build confidence, develop workplace skills and explore future employment opportunities.
The program provides students with the opportunity to engage with a range of NTPS teams and gain practical workplace experiences to assist students to develop a greater understanding of professional workplaces and the skills required for future employment.
The Henbury School work experience placement is one of several pathways available through the NTPS to support the goals of the EmployAbility Strategy and create opportunities for people of all abilities and backgrounds to build skills, gain experience and pursue meaningful careers.
