Inclusion and diversity in the NTPS workforce

Published

The Champions of Inclusion (COI) network, made up of passionate Chief Executive Officers from across the Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS), spoke candidly on camera about how inclusion and diversity affects the NTPS workforce.

The COI’s role is to support mentally healthy workplaces, Aboriginal employment and disability employment matters.

This video explores their views about a workplace where all employees are welcomed and supported, regardless of age, gender, background, culture or religion.

Employees come from different backgrounds particularly in the Territory. After conversations with employees and community members, strong government policy, actions and strategies often occur.

An inclusive and diverse workforce can lead to stronger outcomes and effective ways of delivering service to the community resulting in better outcomes for Territorians.
