Achieved actions or programs
- Proactively ensure all Fire Wardens and First Aid Officers training in their respective areas remains current.
- Provide education and awareness programs to the workforce including the disability confidence suite on MyLearning, and participation in the unconscious bias training through Anti-Discrimination Commission.
- Reviewed the LDC internal policies and practices to identify and remove barriers of inclusion.
- Engagement of Helping People Achieve (HPA) to undertake the verge maintenance for LDC’s Darwin Business Park precinct. HPA have been engaged by LDC to undertake this work for the last 2 years.
- All job descriptions (JDs) are reviewed regularly to ensure they are compliant with OCPE guidelines for writing JDs.
- Held celebration for International Day of People with Disability on 8 December 2021 – morning tea to improve and share awareness.
