Achieved actions or programs

  • The OICAC's Corporate Services unit is the leading working group monitoring the DAP to ensure requirements are met with completed actions being reported to the Executive Committee.
  • The OICAC intranet has been updated to include information to raise awareness of inclusion and diversity. A dedicated Health and Wellbeing page has been created to provide employees with tools and resources to assist in gaining an understanding and knowledge of inclusion and diversity is in place.
  • All Fire Wardens and First Aid Officers completed the Disability Confident Workforces training during the period of 2022/2023.
  • Disability Confident training made available in OICAC training and development plan. Managers and Directors completed the Disability confident training in 2022.
  • All new employees advised to update details in MYHR and provided with instructions on how to do this task.
  • Reviewed and updated ICAC’s Induction handbook in December 2022 to includ a section on Inclusion and Diversity.
  • Staff attended a 2-day accredited training provided by Mental Health First Aid Australia.
